MAIN TARGET
Biggs Harland Phuong, a man of capitalism, is now a main target for the North Vietnamese during the Vietnam war. During the helicopter evacuation during the Fall of Saigon, Biggs didn't get evacuated since it was only for the the U.S citizens and embassy officials. When the North Vietnamese took over Saigon & the rest of South Vietnam, Biggs got help by ohter refugee to a boat which they claim they would go someplace safe.
Today was Bigg's 2nd day on the boat, he hadn't been sleeping well, waking up & going back to sleep again. While he was asleep, a refugee suddenly woke him up and shout at him "Come On get up! They found us!," "Who found us?" BIggs asked. "Just get up! C' mon WE.ARE.LEAVING!!" Biggs quickly get off his bed and rushed to the deck.Everything was chaotic up here, people running all over the place, but then Biggs was able to spot a group of soldiers with AK rifles. One of them caught him looking at them and then shouted out "HEY There he is! Get him now!!" "OH now that the they, man they tracked me down." Biggs said to himself. "Stop talking to yourself alright now find a way to get outta here!"The refugee replied. Biggs turned around and now he saw more soldiers he look to the refugee that woke him up, he was not there anymore. Biggs now have no choice but to jump overboard, he ran for the edge of the boat sprinting as fast as he could,when he was close enough to the edge, he jumped into the air and beginning to fall toward the water. As soon the as the water splashed a sound of gunfire sounded out and bullets spraying into the water.Biggs stayed underwater until the bullet stop spraying into the water. He went to the surface and start swimming away from the boat. Then suddenly... BOOM!!! There was an explosion, Biggs looked back and saw the ship burning in flames and sinking into the water. "What the heck just happened?" Biggs thought. Whatever that happened Biggs know he had to get the outta there because the rescue team will be here soon, which is not a good thing for Biggs. He swam away from the sinking boat. But then he got tired and he need a place to hold on to. He found a mattress floating, he went on top of it and lay there. On that mattress he llayed on it and leave it to float by. Biggs notice some pain in his stomach, he moved his hand to feel it, it was wet, he looked at his hand.Blood.He was shot. For almost Two days, he lie there without food and wounded. Now he cannot hold on anymore. The wound and the hunger were too much for him. He then decided to drink the sea water, although it was salty, it still taste good due to his hunger. Then at that moment, he heard propeller-like sound it was there for quite a while already and he didn't know what it was.
He looked at the sky, don't have the energy to move and look around. Then he heard water splashing continuously and the propeller-like sound grew louder. Then suddenly, in front of face was a man's face. After that, something large in the sky showed up and it was flying in the sky. A helicopter. The man signaled the helicopter to do something. Then a lifting thing started coming down, when it reached the level where Biggs is right now, the man carried him onto it and then he began to be lifted into the air. He now got into the helicopter, there were two man there, one of them washed his face and gave him some water. Now Biggs is facing down at the mattress, helicopter turned the opposite direction that the mattress was floating to. Then he heard one of the man whispered, "yeah its him". Where he was headed he does not know, all he knew was that the man was trying to heal his wound and that his eyes are slowly closing now and shiny white light filling his eyes.
